Changing genre names
Function : HDD
Use

JOG DIAL

] to select “Genre Change”,
then press ENTER.
Perform steps 1 to 3 under “Changing titles”.

name.
Select one of the 25 genre names.

Press ENTER to set the genre name you have chosen.

Creating playlists
Function : HDD
This feature can be used to organize the tracks stored on the HDD in
20 groups consisting of up to 256 tracks each.
The playlists only consist of data on the track order, etc. They are
used to call out the tracks on the HDD in the specified order to play
them.
Clearing a track from a playlist does not delete it from the HDD.
Adding tracks to playlists
Press [EDIT].
[PROG] can be used to add the currently playing track to the
playlist.
In the stop mode, display the track you want to add
( page 22).

then press ENTER.

] to select the track to be
added to the playlist, then press ENTER.
The track is added to the end of the playlist, and “Complete”
is displayed.

Clearing tracks from playlists
Use

] to select “Track Clear”,
then press ENTER.
In the stop mode, select the track you want to clear
from the playlist, then press [EDIT] ( page 22).

The track is cleared from the playlist and “Complete” is
displayed.

Changing the order of tracks on playlists
Use

then press ENTER.
In the stop mode, select the track on the playlist
whose order you want to change, then press [EDIT]
( page 22).

which you want to move the track, then press ENTER.
The order of the track on the playlist is changed and
“Complete” is displayed.

The playlist is cleared and “Complete” is displayed.

All the playlists are cleared and “Complete” is displayed.

The contents of the “Recently Played” and “Recently Stored”
playlists are also cleared.
