Getting Started
3 Grasp the front panel firmly, slide to the left 0 ,
and then
pull.
to remove.
The front panel may become hot in normal usage (especially the
connector terminals on the back
of
thefront panel). This is not a
malfunction.
To
protect thefront panel, place it in the supplied carrying case.
When detaching the front panel, do not apply excessiveforce as it
may result in malfunction.
Do not leave thefront panel open,
or
drive the car with the panel
open as it may result in an accident
or
malfunction.

to turn on the unit.
Attaching
1 Insert the right side of the front panel into the main
unit. Align the ,groove on the front panel with the
projections on the main unit.
2 Push the left side of the front panel until it locks
firmly into the main unit.
The unitcan be turned on bypressing any other button except
t:.
(OPEN).
Press and hold
SOURCE/<!>
for at least 2 seconds to turn
off the unit.
Before attaching thefront panel, make sure that there is no dirt
or
dust on the connector terminals and noforeign object between the
front panel
and
the main unit.
Attach thefront panelcarefully, holding the sides
of
thefrontpanel to
avoidpushing buttons by mistake.
The first time
power
is turned on, the volume will startfrom level
12.

1 Turn off the unit power.
2 Press

to open the front panel.
To
close the front panel, press the left side until
it
locks as
shown
in
the figure below.
