- Connect to a second mixer or receiver to output ZONE2. This output will play which-
ever input channel ZONE2 is set to play. The ZONE 2 channel allows you to output any of the analog input channels to a
different location to be played simultaneously with the main zone. This is common for home entertainment setups that
have different things playing in different rooms at the same time.
NOTE: Zone 2 does not include any of the digital input channels: optical, coaxial, 7.1 surround sound.

OPT1 Digital Optical Audio input
- Digital optical audio input for the OPT1/DVD input channel. Connect here using
a digital optical cable. When using a player that is connected to these inputs, make sure the DTX-9909K is set to the
OPT1 input channel.
NOTE: If a player’s audio is connected to this input, make sure its video is connected to a video input (RCA, S-
Video or Component) that is on the DVD input channel.

- Digital optical audio input for the OPT2/AUX1 input channel. Connect here using
a digital optical cable. When using a player that is connected to these inputs, make sure the DTX-9909K is set to the
OPT2 input channel.
NOTE: If a player’s audio is connected to this input, make sure its video is connected to a video input (RCA, S-
Video or Component) that is on the AUX1 input channel.

- Digital Coaxial audio input for the COX1/DVD input channel. Connect here using
a digital coaxial cable. When using a player that is connected to these inputs, make sure the DTX-9909K is set to the
COX1 input channel.
NOTE: If a player’s audio is connected to this input, make sure its video is connected to a video input (RCA, S-
Video or Component) that is on the DVD input channel.
