If you eventually forget your new password you can reset the
password to the original "3308" factory default setting as
follows:
1 Exit the SETUP MENU and stop playback. The EMERSON
DVD logo screen appears on the TV.
2 Depress the VOL+ button first, and while holding the VOL+
button press the STEP button on the remote control.
"PARENTAL CODE CANCELED" will appear on the bottom
of the screen and the password reverts back to the original
"3308" factory default setting.
Notes:
• You can only reset the parental password by the above
procedure.
• You cannot reset the password from the Password Change
Page or the Default Reset Page!
• When you depress the VOL+ button to reset the password
the master volume level will increase. After resetting the
password be sure to reset the master volume to the desired
level.

Select "RESET" and then press ENTER button.
All of the items in the SETUP menu will return to their original
default settings.The default selections are shown and
underlined on page 28.
Note
• All default settings are underlined in this manual.
• The parental control and its unlocking password will not be
reset.
