Press 1.
Checking the order of the programmed tracks
In the stop mode, press [CALL] repeatedly.
The track numbers are displayed in the programmed order each time
the button is pressed.
Clearing programmed tracks one track at a time
In the stop mode, press [CLEAR].
The last track programmed is cleared each time the button is
pressed.
Clearing the last programmed track
In the stop mode, press [PROGRAM].
The “PROG” indicator turns off.
Playing Random Order <Random playback>

In the stop mode, press [RANDOM].
The “RAND” indicator lights.

The tracks start playing in random order.
Canceling random playback
In the stop mode, press [RANDOM].
The “RAND” indicator turns off.
There are many music distribution sites on the Internet allowing you
to download music files in MP3 or WMA (Windows Media
®
Audio)
format. The music (files) downloaded from such sites can be stored on
CD-R or CD-RW discs and played on the S-302.

trademarks in the United States and other countries of Microsoft
Corporation of the United States.

Creating MP3 and WMA Files
Compatible with the S-302
• Writing software format: “ISO9660 level 1”.
See the writing software’s instructions.
• Compatible: ID3-Tag (Ver.1 or 2), meta-tag.
• Incompatible: Packet write, playlists.
• Displayable characters: “Hankaku” English letters and numbers,
capital letters and _ (underscore).
No. characters displayable: 256
• When Playing MP3 or WMA Files, the digital output is converted to
PCM. The signals are output with the same sampling frequency as
when they were written.
• The positions of the folders or files may have been changed by the
writing software when burning the MP3/WMA files onto the CD-
R/CD-RW disc, so the files may not play in the expected order.
• Copyright-protected files cannot be played. Note that depending on
the software used for burning and other conditions, some files may
not play or display correctly.
Playing MP3 or WMA Files

Load a CD-R or CD-RW disc containing music les in
the MP3 or WMA format into the disc tray (vpage
4).

Select the folder you want to play using [ui], then
press [ENTER].

Select the le you want to play using [ui], then press
[ENTER] or 1.
Playback starts.
Switching the time display
During playback, press [DISPLAY].
