4-3. Service Change and Recording
1) Service Change
If you want to change and watch a certain program, place the cursor on
the program you want to watch and press the
OK
button. This action
automatically exits from the EPG then you will watch the program on
the full screen.
2) Recording
You can record or set a timer in the EPG with the
REC
button. If the
cursor is place on the current program, the
REC
button enables instant
recording. Also if the cursor is placed on the future program, the
REC
button sets a timer. Especially for future programs, you can set a timer
to either record or just view with consecutive inputs of the
REC
button.
You can not set the recurrence of recording in the EPG.
If you set a recording or a timer for viewing, a red or blue dot is marked
on the program accordingly.
3) Resolving Duplication
If a new recording or timer setting produces a duplication to the current
recordings or the timers previously set, a pop-up windows will be
displayed, which is explained in the previous section. You can either
cancel the current recording/previous set timer, or you can cancel the
new recording/timer.
NOTE

You can not watch a program if it is already finished or scheduled to
show in the future.

If it’s necessary to change the program displayed on the small
window according to the instant recording, a pop-up message
appears for you to confirmation.
