COPYING FROM THE HDD ONTO A CD-R/CD-RW DISC

4. Press w/d to start copying.
The progress of the copy process is shown in the display.
The unit applies the following settings (default) if the CDR
copy menu settings (P.43) are never changed.
Copy Method: “Digital Copy”
Copy Level: 0dB
• Copy Speed: “Best Effort”
Memo
•The OPC (Optimum Power Control) feature may start
automatically depending on disc conditions. In this case, the
message “OPC Adjust” appears on the display until the
adjustment is done (about 10 seconds) before the copy
process starts.
The progress of elapsed time for the track being copied may
vary by the data processing inside this unit.

If copying is canceled by pressing a, only the data that has
been recorded on the CD-R or CD-RW disc before the
cancellation remains on the disc. When “Digital Move”
(P.43) is selected, the original data on the HDD that have
already been copied to a CD-R or CD-RW disc will be
deleted.
CD TEXT is copied only when selecting “Full Auto” in the
CDR copy mode for a new CD-R or CD-RW disc.
•When the Audio Master Quality Recording is set or the
message “Recording” appears on the display, you cannot
cancel the copy process by pressing a.
When copying has been completed, the operation of
the HDD and the CD automatically stops.
