COPYING FROM THE HDD ONTO A CD-R/CD-RW DISC
Copying all tracks in a group to a disc
You can copy all tracks in a whole group of discs, albums or bookmark list.
1. Set a new or not finalized CD-R (or CD-RW) disc in
the disc tray.
This unit starts reading the information (type and capacity of a
CD-R or a CD-RW disc) when a CD-R or a CD-RW disc is
loaded.
The following message appears during reading (the process
may take 10 to 20 seconds depending on the disc condition).
When reading the information has been completed, the display
changes as follows, and this unit becomes ready for operation.
When copying onto a CD-R or CD-RW disc without
finalization
When copying onto a new CD-R or CD-RW disc

2. Press COPY twice.
The following message appears on the display, and this unit
enters in the CDR copy standby mode. Copying has not been
started yet at this stage.
Memo
In the CDR copy standby mode, you can specify the settings
for disc copy. For details, refer to “Setting the CDR copy
mode” (P.42) and “Setting the CDR copy menu” (P.43).
3. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/–, GROUP SKIP
buttons, H or G on the remote control) to select a
group to be copied onto the disc.
The following screen appears on the display depending on the
type of group you selected.
Memo
You can create a CD with high quality sounds using the Audio
Master Quality Recording feature. For details, refer to
“Copying high quality sounds (Audio Master Quality
Recording)” (P.41).
