Speaker Setup (Auto) 2
Press the ENTER button (or the MEMORY button of the
main unit) to start the automatic speaker setup.
The microphone perceives the test tone emitted from each
speaker, and adjusts the size, distance and relative volume
automatically.

If you want to stop the test tone, press the ENTER button (or
the MEMORY button of the main unit).
Other buttons won’t work during the automatic speaker
setup.
If the automatic speaker setup has been finished
successfully, the result appears on the screen, and “SET
MEMO” appears on the display.

Speaker polarity (+ or –) appears on the screen. If “–”
appears, check the connection to the speaker.

If you don’t want to save the result, press the g button (or
the SELECT button of the main unit) to exit.

If no front speaker (or no microphone) is connected,
“ERROR” appears on the screeen and the display.
In this case, press the g
button (or the SELECT button of
the main unit) to exit, turn the power off, and check the
connection to the front speakers and microphone. Try again
from step .
If the test result isn’t reliable:
1. Set the TEST LEVEL (volume of the test tone) to MEDIUM or
LARGE using the 5
button (or the TONE MODE button of the
main unit).
You might get the better result with higher volume.
2. Press the t
button (or the SELECT button of the main
unit) to retry.
Press the ENTER (or the MEMORY button) to save the
setting and exit the Speaker setup mode.
“COMPLETE” briefly appears on the display.
