3) (Fig. 4) sh ows the PIR inst alled against a steel st ud fu rring channe l. Attach the PIR with screws directly through
the furring and into 24” strips of blocking installed on the upper side of the channel so that the screws will go
into both. E nsure that overhe ad work is carrie d out safe ly, and according t o loca l building codes.
4) After t he PIR inst a llati on is comple te, run your signal w ires. At t his time, ha ve an electricia n inst all ele ctrica l
circuits for your sub , if required.

po int o n th e supp ort structure abo ve the subwo ofer . A ttach this to the strapp ing on either side o f th e sub and
suspend it in case the insta llati on is compromise d. F ollow t he inst ructions for w ire rope installat ion from y our
w ire rope supplie r, and check with your local building code for specifics.
