Use high qu ality 2 condu ctor shielde d audio cable (Be lde n 84 5 1 ) for runs of up t o 2 0 0 '. The XLR pi nout is: pin 1 (Shield) ,
pin 2 ( Signal high), pin 3 (Signa l low) .

au d io cable (Beld en 8451). Th e X LR p in-o u t is: p in 1 (Sh ield ), pin 2 (Sig n al h ig h ), pin 3 (Sig n al lo w ).
3) POW ER M ODE- Select AU TO-ON fo r au to m atic po wer -u p in t he p resen ce o f an aud io sig nal. In t his mo d e, th e
un it will revert t o stand-by after an audio silence of 15 minutes. Sw itch t o OF F t o re move power from t he unit . Pow er
OFF will also disable the signal at the HIGH PASS OUTPUT.

6) EA RTH LIFT- Sw itches t he internal grou nd con ne ct ion from cha ssis to "f loatin g" t o help eliminat e any possible
ground- loops that may caus e hum or buzzing in the subwoofer or other pieces of gear.
7) X-OV ER M ODE- T he LOW PASS posit ion is use d in most insta llations. ALL PA SS prese nts a f ull range signal to
th e subwo o fer . The ALL PASS m od e allo w s th e u ser to d efeat th e b u ilt -in LOW PASS circuit, w hich m ay b e useful in
cert ain sit uation s where an e x t e rn al crossov e r or pro ce ssor is u sed.
8) X-OV ER FREQ- Used to adjust the LOW PASS frequency of the subwoofer. This control only adjusts the signal
goin g to t he subw oofe r a s the HIGH PASS crossov e r frequency is fixed at 8 0 Hz. (Sat e llite spea ke rs with limited low end
re sponse may require a higher crossover frequency for t he su bwoofe r) . T his cont rol is best adjust e d by e ar using a
high quality mu sic signal.
9) SUB LEVEL- Use d t o adjust t he ga in of the subwoofer amplifier w it hout affe ct ing t he HIGH P ASS out put .
