• Sticky adhesives or inks from the CD
label, if present, may become attached
to internal parts, causing jamming of
the CD or malfunction of the unit.
Always check the CD label carefully
for sticky substances before inserting
the CD. Do not use the following
types of CDs:
— Rental or used CDs with adhesive
extending out from the edge of the
sticker. Check along the edge of
the sticker for stickiness.
— CDs with labels printed with
special inks that are sticky to the
touch.
On the MiniDisc cartridge
• Do not open the shutter to expose the
MD.
• Do not place the cartridge where it
will be subject to extremes of
sunlight, temperature, moisture or
dust.
On cleaning
Clean the cabinet, panel and controls
with a soft cloth slightly moistened with
a mild detergent solution. Do not use
any type of abrasive pad, scouring
powder or solvent such as alcohol or
benzine.
If you have any questions or problems
concerning your deck, please consult
your nearest Sony dealer.
