1.Input Signal—Connectthese RCAjacks asdescribed
inthe FrontPanel Connection sectionof thisguide.
2.SLAVE/MASTER Switch—
•Set theSLAVE/MASTER switch on the master
amplifierto the MASTERposition.
•Set theSLAVE/MASTER switch on the slave
amplifierto the SLAVEposition.
•Setting theSLAVE/MASTER switchon both
amplifierswill automaticallyset theI/O RCA
jackconfiguration accordingto eachamplifiers
slaveor masterdesignation.
NOTE:Amplifiers inthis combinationcan onlybe connect-
edin matchedpairs. MultipleMatched pairs maybe added
todrive separate subwoofer loads ina given system.
3.Phase Switch—Set thephase switchesof allsynced
MASTERamps to0°.Set thephase switchesof all
syncedSLAVE ampsto 180°.Themaster andslave
ampsmust be set tothe oppositephase modein order
forExternal Synced Bridged operationto work.
4.To AchieveSafe, OptimalPerformance—The LPF,
BassEQ, and SubsonicFilter controlson all synced
ampsmust be set tothe sameposition.
5.Signal Connection—Connectan RCAcable be-
tweenthe OUT RCAjacks ofthe Master amplifier
andthe INPUT RCAjack ofthe Slaveamplifier as
shownin Figure 6.
6.Subwoofer SpeakerConnection—In thisamplifier
combination,the Subwooferspeaker terminalsof both
amplifiersdrive commonsubwoofer(s). Usethe follow-
ingspeaker connectiondiagram whenconnecting the
subwoofersto theamplifiers. Connectthe amplifiers
speakerterminals toany combinationof oneor more
subwoofersthat resultsin anominal impedance be-
tween2 and 4Ohms. DONOT connectloads ofless
than2 Ohmswhen connectingto amplifiersin the
ExternalSynced Bridgedcombination.
WARNING:Two wires of12AWG minimummust be
connectedbetween thenegative subout terminalsof
theMASTER andSLAVE amplifiers.
WARNING:The amplifier’sgain controlis bypassedcom-
pletelyin SLAVE mode.DO NOTmove theMASTER/SLAVE
switchto SLAVEposition whenthe amplifieris connected
andplaying. DONOT connectany signalsource tothe
amplifierin SLAVEmode thatexceeds 200mV.
