NOTE TO CATV SYSTEM INSTALLER:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV (Cable-
TV) system installer's attention to Article 820-40 of
the NEC, which provides guidelines for proper
grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable
ground shall be connected to the grounding system
of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as
practical.
NOTE:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the
equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used
in accordance with the instruction manual, may
cause harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is
likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at this
own expense.
NOTE:
Changes or modifications may cause this unit to fail
to comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and may
void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Rack-mounting the Unit
Use the supplied rack-mounting kit to mount the unit
in a standard 19-inch rack, as shown below.
Remove the feet of the unit before mounting.
NOTE
• Leave 1U of space above the unit for ventilation.
• Allow at least 10 cm (4 in) at the rear of the unit
for ventilation.
• The range of operating temperatures for this unit
is 5–35 degrees C.
• Place this unit on a level surface.
• To allow for proper cooling, do not place objects
on top of this unit.
• Do not place this unit on a power amp or other
device that generates heat.
This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.
