Error messages
If one of the following messages should appear, press
the (stop) button and then deal with the cause of
the error. If you are still unable to resolve the prob-
lem, please contact service center nearby.
Cant Rec!
Cannot record. Either erase the contents of the
disc (for a CD-RW), or use a different recordable
disc.
Disc Error!
There is a problem with the disc. Use a different
disc.
Disc Full!
Recording is not possible because there is no
more recordable time or recordable track on the
disc.
Text Full!
You have reached the maximum number of char-
acters.
Sure? Text!
After editing text, you attempted to open the tray
without nalizing. If you wish to proceed (and
discard the text you entered), press the
(Open/Close) button once again.
Drive Error!
There is a problem with the CD-RW drive.
D-IN UNLOCK!
No digital unit is connected to the DIGITAL IN
jack (or the power of the connected digital unit is
turned off). Check the connection and power of
your digital unit.
Not Audio!
The signal being received at the DIGITAL IN jack
is not an audio signal.
Erase Error!
An error occurred while erasing.
Not Fs44.1k!
The sampling frequency of the digital input is not
44.1 kHz. Please turn the SRC on.
PGM Empty!
Nothing has been programmed.
PGM Full!
You have already programmed 99 songs.
Format Err!
This format cannot be read on the unit.
Cant Edit!
The editing operation cannot be executed due to
operational restrictions.
Cant Sel!
The menu or other item cannot be selected
because it is prohibited.
Cant INCR!
The track cannot be incremented because
M_TR_INCR is OFF.
Rec Error!
An error occurred while recording. Please re-
record.
No DIR!
There is no directory that contains a le.
Decode Err!
Failed to playback an MP3 le.
Messages during operation
Blank Disc
An unrecorded disc is inserted.
Complete
An operation such as nalize or erase has been
completed.
Now OPC.
Calibration is being performed to match the char-
acteristics of the disc being used so that it can be
recorded optimally.
Disc Repair
The disc is being repaired.
PMA Writing (PMA = Program Memory Area)
The recorded content is being written to the disc.
TOC Reading.
TOC data is being read.
