Guide Programme Number Set
1 Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.
2 Press selection keys to select AINITIAL SET UPB, then press
ENTER for confirmation.
3 Press selection keys
to select AGUIDE PRB,
then press ENTER for
confirmation.
4 Press selection keys
to select AGUIDE
PROGRAMMEB, then
press ENTER for
confirmation.
5 Press selection keys
to select the Guide
Programme number
for the desired station
as shown in the TV
listings. Then press
ENTER.
● To change the Guide Programme number in 10 programme
increments, press and hold FG.
6 Press selection keys to select ATV PROGRAMMEB, then press
ENTER. Press selection keys to select the number of the unit’s
channel position on which the Guide Programme number’s
broadcast is received by the unit. Then press ENTER.
● Repeat steps 5 - 6 as necessary.
7 Press SET UP to complete the setting.
VIDEO Plus+ System Setup
IMPORTANT:
Normally, Auto Set Up (A pg. 18), Preset Download (A pg. 19)
or Auto Channel Set (A pg. 78) sets the Guide Programme
numbers automatically. You need to set the Guide Programme
numbers manually only in the following cases.
● When timer programming with the VIDEO Plus+ system, the
channel position, where the station you wish to record is
received on your unit, is not selected,
OR
when you add a channel after Auto Set Up, Preset Download
or Auto Channel Set has taken place,
^ Set the Guide Programme number for that station manually.
● Turn on the unit.
● Turn on the TV and select an input mode such as EXT1.
● Set the remote control selector switch to AUDIO.
● Press DVD on the remote control.

Selection Keys
Guide Programme Number
AGuide Programme (GUIDE PROGRAMME) numberB refers to
the assigned TV station numbers, according to broadcast area,
for the VIDEO Plus+ timer recording. The Guide Programme
Numbers can be found in most TV listings.
