Basic operations of disc/file playback
When a disc/file is played back
Press 7.
When playback is stopped in the middle, playback
can be started from the stopped position.
When a disc/file is played back
Follow any of the operations below.
*1 “RESUME” is displayed in the display window.
If
7 is pressed twice, the position where
playback has been stopped is cleared.
*2 After this operation, the position where playback
has been stopped is stored even when the main
unit is turned off by pressing [F AUDIO].
Press [DVD/CD

] or [USB MEMORY
3
].
NOTE
This function does not work in program playback
or random playback.
The stored position is cleared if the disc tray is
opened or the USB mass storage class device is
disconnected.
You can deactivate the resume playback func-
tion. (Refer to “RESUME” on page 43.)
When a file on the USB mass storage class
device is selected as the source, this function
may not work as explained above.

: The disc/file cannot accept the opera-
tion you have attempted.

Slow motion playback (reverse/
forward directions)
Messages on the TV screen
When a DVD VIDEO or an USB mass storage
class device is selected as the source, the mes-
sages shown below are displayed on the TV
screen to indicate its status.
NOW READING:
Appears when the main unit is reading the disc/
file information. Wait for a short time.
REGION CODE ERROR!:
Appears when the region code of the disc does
not match the code supported by the main unit.

NO DISC:
Appears when no disc is loaded.
NO USB DEVICE:
Appears when a USB mass storage class
device is not connected.
OPEN:
Appears when the disc tray is opening.
CLOSE:
Appears when the disc tray is closing.
CANNOT PLAY THIS DISC:
Appears when attempting to play back an
unplayable disc.
CANNOT PLAY THIS DEVICE:
Appears when there are no playable files on a
USB mass storage class device.
Stopping playback
Resuming playback
Press 7 once.

Press [F AUDIO] to turn off the main unit.
Select a source other than the disc/file.
