Firmware for FOX 2G Tx/Rx AV
Firmware can be downloaded onto the unit from the Extron Web
site (www.extron.com). The transmitter and receiver require
different rmware and must both be upgraded separately.
SIS Command Validity Table
If only one ber optic channel is enabled, the ability to congure
the system through SIS commands is limited by the lack of
return communication from the receiver to the transmitter.
All commands issued through the transmitter are valid because
link 1 allows signals to be forwarded to the receiver. However,
responses to queries originating from the transmitter about the
status of the receiver will return invalid data.
All conguration of the receiver by commands issued through
the receiver will be valid. Attempts to congure the the
transmitter through the receiver in the absence of link 2 will be
invalid.
