Audio Distribution System Crestron Adagio™ AADS
Confirm Ethernet connections between the AADS and PC. If connecting
through a hub, use CAT5 straight through cables with 8-pin RJ-45
connectors. Alternatively, Use a CAT5 crossover cable to connect the two
LAN ports directly, without using a hub.
Use the Address Book in Crestron Toolbox to create an entry for the
AADS with the AADS’ TCP/IP communication parameters.
Display the “System Info” window (click the
icon) and select the
AADS entry. Communications are confirmed when the device information
is displayed.
Programs and Firmware
The Functions menu displays a list of actions that can be performed on the
AADS:
Upgrade firmware
IP Table
SIMPL Program
Upload the SIMPL Windows file to the AADS using SIMPL Windows or
Crestron Toolbox.
Upload the VisionTools Pro-e file to the AADS using VisionTools Pro-e or
the Crestron Toolbox.
Upgrade AADS firmware via Crestron Toolbox.
Establish serial or TCP/IP communications with the AADS.
Select Functions | Firmware… to upgrade the AADS firmware.
