Adjust the maximum volume with the selection control. Press up to raise
the maximum volume or press down to lower the maximum volume. The
maximum startup volume setting is 50%.
Press SELECT to store the startup volume setting and to return to the
Room Setup menu.
Set Mono or Stereo Mode
The audio sent to the speakers in each room can be set for either stereo or mono.
When set to stereo, the audio signal is separated into left and right channels for
distribution to left and right speakers. When set to mono, the audio signal is
combined into one signal for use in larger rooms where stereo separation is not
practical. The mono/stereo settings of each room can be adjusted independently.
Access the Room Setup mode as described on page 31.
Press down on the selection control until Stereo/Mono is displayed and
press SELECT to open the Stereo/Mono control. The selected mode is
displayed on the LCD.

To select stereo, press the selection control down to display Stereo and
press SELECT.
To select mono, press the selection control up to display Mono and press
SELECT.
To cancel and return to the Room Setup menu, press the MENU button.
Configure Presets
Presets can be created to group speakers in adjacent rooms with a specified source,
or switch into a whole-house “party” mode, by letting the user link a source with any
number of rooms. Changing the source in any one room changes the source in all of
the rooms in the preset.
Edit a Preset
To edit a preset:
Press and hold the PRESET button for approximately five seconds to view
the Edit Presets control shown in the following diagram.
