Crestron Adagio™ AADS Audio Distribution System
Configuration
After making all hardware connections to the AADS, the system must be configured
for operation.
Configuring the system is broken down into four processes:
Configure the AADS for Operation
Configure Sources
Configure Rooms
Configure Preset Groups
Configure the AADS for Operation
The AADS must be configured for operation prior to configuring sources, rooms, or
groups. Use the Installer Tools to configure the AADS for operation.
NOTE: If a custom program was created with Adagio Composer or SystemBuilder,
the following is not required.
Open Installer Tools
Press and hold the ROOM and SOURCE buttons for five seconds to open
the Installer Tools menu.

Scroll through the list of available options by pressing up or down on the
selection control. Arrows indicate available directions (up or down). The
selected option will be displayed. Available options are:
Select Tuner Format – Specifies the North American or European
tuning format for the AM/FM tuner.
Configure Network – Configures the AADS to communicate with
devices that are connected to the AADS over Ethernet.
Set Number of Rooms – Sets the number of rooms to be controlled
by the AADS.
Name Rooms – Allows custom naming of rooms controlled by the
AADS.
Name Sources – Allows custom naming of audio sources
connected to the AADS.
Hide Sources – Hides sources that are not used from the source
list.
Identify Keypads – Registers APAD devices and C2N-DBF12
keypads that are connected to the system.
