On-Screen menu
Set or select the on-screen guide display, background color for
the TV screen, and the language for this setup menu and the
on-screen guides.

Guide Message
Sets whether or not to show the on-screen guide display at
the upper right corner of the TV screen.
The default is “ON”.

Select “On-screen Menu” in the “SETUP MENU”
and press ENTER.

Select “Guide Message” and press ENTER.

Select the desired setting and press ENTER.

Press RETURN to return to the previous screen
or press SETUP to exit the setup menu.
Background
Sets the background color of the TV screen while stopped.
The default is “Wallpaper”.

and press ENTER.

Select “Background” and press ENTER.

Select the desired setting and press ENTER.

Press RETURN to return to the previous screen
or press SETUP to exit the setup menu.
Menu Language
Selects the language in which this setup menu and the on-
screen guide messages are displayed.
The default is “English”.

Press RETURN to return to the previous screen

Disc Languages
Selects the preferred audio sound track language, subtitle
language and menu screen language for DVD playback.

Select “Disc Languages” in the “SETUP MENU”
and press ENTER.

Select “Audio language” and press ENTER.
To confirm your setting
1 Follow steps 1 to 4 above to display the setting you want to
confirm.
2Press SETUP to exit the setup menu without making
changes.
If you pressed RETURN or SETUP before pressing ENTER
to enter your selection, you return to the previous screen or
exit the setup menu, respectively, without entering your
selection. If you are uncertain of your present setup, follow
the steps above to confirm your setting.
•Your setting is not saved in the unit's memory until you
press POWER to turn off the power. If the unit suffers a power
interruption before it is turned off with POWER, setting will
revert to the previous one when the unit is turned on the
next time.
While the setup screen is displayed, you will not be able to
perform other operations on the DVD player. Press SETUP
again to exit the setup screen first.
Setup is canceled if the disc compartment is opened.
