Playing Tracks Repeatedly
(Repeat Play) Z
You can play tracks repeatedly in any play mode.

SELECT
REPEAT
1 Set SELECT to CD or MD.
2 Press REPEAT repeatedly until “REP” appears in
the display.
The deck repeats the tracks as follows:
When the disc is played in The deck repeats
Normal play (pages 6 and 7) All the tracks
Shuffle Play (page 16) All the tracks in random
order
Program Play (page 16) The same program
To stop Repeat Play
Press p.
To cancel Repeat Play
Press REPEAT repeatedly until “REP” disappears.
Note
(CD only) The deck repeats the tracks up to five times.
Repeating the current track only
While the track you want to repeat is playing in
normal, Shuffle or Program Play, press REPEAT
repeatedly until “REP 1” appears in the display.
If you select “REP 1” while the deck is stopped, the
deck repeats the track that you locate to play.
While monitoring the
sound
) (forward) or 0 (backward)

Locating a Particular Point in a
Track
You can also use the 0 and ) buttons to locate a
particular point in a track during playback or playback
pause.
When using the remote, set SELECT to CD or MD.

z If “– Over –” appears while you are pressing )
The disc has reached to its end. Turn AMS
counterclockwise (or press =) or press 0 to go
back.
Notes
• (MD only) If the disc reaches the end while you are
pressing ) during sound monitoring, the deck stops.
• Tracks that are only a few seconds long may be too short
to scan using the search function. For such tracks, it is
better to play the disc at normal speed.
