Controlling the TV
You can control your TV using the buttons
below.
Note
Depending on the TV, you may not be able to control
your TV or to use some of the buttons above.
Controlling satellite receivers
with the remote
1 Press RM SET UP and AV [/1
simultaneously.
The RM SET UP indicator lights up and “IR
SET” appears in the remote’s display.
2 Select “TV/SAT” using Cursor key, and
then push Cursor key.
3 Enter your Satellite receiver’s
manufacturer code (see the table)
using Cursor key.
4 Push Cursor key after you have
selected the 3-digit code.
When registration is completed, the RM
SET UP indicator flashes twice.
Code numbers of controllable
satellite receivers
If more than one code number is listed, try
entering them one at a time until you find the one
that works with your satellite receiver.
Controlling the satellite receiver
Press FUNCTION and select “TV/SAT” using
Cursor key, and then push Cursor key.
Sources that can be controlled by the remote
change depending on the setting of TV/SAT.
You can control your satellite receiver using the
buttons below.
Notes
Depending on the satellite receiver, you may not be
able to control your satellite receiver or to use some
of the buttons above.
To operate a DVD player, press FUNCTION and
select “DVD” using Cursor key, and then push
Cursor key to change the mode of the receiver to
DVD.

TV [/1 Turn the TV on or off.
TV/VIDEO Switch the TV’s input source
between the TV and other input
sources.
TV VOL +/– adjust the TV volume.
TV CH +/– change the TV channel.

DVD DISPLAY Turn the display on or off.
O RETURN/EXIT Return to the previous display
in the program guide or menu.
C/X/x/c/ ENTER Select the item in the program
guide or menu.
