Chapter 5 Enjoying Radio and Other Component
Naming the Preset Stations
You can edit the name of the preset stations in the Preset
station list.
1 Press the TUNER SELECT on the Home Menu.
The display changes to the Tuner display, then the
Preset station list appears.
2 Press and hold any SELECT of the station of which
you want to edit the name.
The display changes to the Text edit display.
3 Enter the name in the text box using the function
SELECT.
See the table below for details on the function of each
of the buttons.
A Moves the cursor to the left in the text being edited
(Text Edit).
B Changes characters in reverse alphabetical order.
C Clears the character on which the cursor is placed
in the text being edited (Text Edit).
D Cancels editing and returns to the Preset station
list.
E Moves the cursor to the right in the text being
edited (Text Edit).
F Changes characters in alphabetical order.
G Enters the selected character into the text box.
H Stores the name and returns to the Preset station
list.
4 Press the RETURN SELECT.
The name of the preset station is stored, then the
display returns to the Preset station list.
After you have tuned in stations using direct tuning or
Automatic tuning, you can preset them to the Unit.
Up to 20 FM or AM stations can be preset.
1 Press TUNER SELECT on the Home Menu.
The display changes to the Tuner display, then the
Preset station list appears.
2 Press any SELECT that corresponds to the station
you want to tune in.
The display changes to the current station display.
3 Tune in to the station that you want to preset
(page 31).
4 Press the MEM (memory) SELECT to enter your
selection.
