[Amending the Cue point]
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
¶ This will take you back to the set track position.
2. Press one of the SEARCH buttons (1, ¡) to set to
audible pause mode.
3. In the CDJ mode, to set the Cue point, go through steps 2
and 3 as mentioned above.
7 Setting the Cue point in the VINYL mode
1. During playback, at the point you wish to set as the cue
point, either press and hold the surface of the Jog dial,
or press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to enter the
standby mode.
2. While pressing the surface of the Jog dial, turn back the
dial to a point just before the track you wish to play.
3. When the sound is the track being searched for, press
the CUE button while you are still pressing the surface of
the Jog dial.
¶ Cue point memory setting is completed when the current time lights in the
display.
¶ When a new Cue point is stored in memory the previous setting will be
erased.
[Amending the Cue point]
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
¶ This will take you back to the set track position.
2. In the VINYL mode, to set the Cue point, go through
steps 2 and 3 as mentioned above.
÷ The SEARCH buttons (1, ¡) can now be used to modify the cue
point, in the same way as for the CDJ mode.
7 Real-time cue
During playback, press the LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE button at the
desired Cue point.
¶ This point will then be recorded as the new Cue point.
7 Checking Cue points (Cue point sampler)
After specifying a cueing point, press the CUE button.
¶ The sound at the specified Cue point will continue to play as long as the
CUE button is pressed.
7 Returning to a Cue point (Back cue)
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
¶ The player will return to the specified Cue point.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8).
¶ Playback will begin immediately from the specified Cue point.

Changing Playback Speed (*)
Pull the Tempo Control knob towards you.
Slide the knob towards you (+) to increase the tempo and slide it away from you
(–) to decrease it.
¶ The rate of change in playback speed (tempo) is shown in the display.
¶ The playback speed can be changed without changing the pitch (☞ “Apply-
ing Master Tempo”).
7 Selecting range of tempo adjustment
Press the TEMPO ±6/±10/±16/±100 WIDE button.
Each time the button is pressed the variable range of the Tempo Control knob
changes as follows: ±6%, ±10%, ±16% and ±100%. You can adjust as follows: at
±6% :0.02%units, at ±10% :0.05%units, at ±16% :0.05%units, at ±100% :0.2%units.
¶ The set variable range value is indicated in the display.
7 Resetting tempo
Press the TEMPO RESET button.
The Tempo Reset indicator lights and the rate of tempo variation is reset to [0]
(normal tempo) regardless of Tempo Control knob setting.
¶ One more press of the TEMPO RESET button cancels the reset and speed
setting made with the Tempo Control knob is valid again.

1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
¶ Vous repasserez ainsi à la position de plage définie.
2. Appuyez sur un des boutons SEARCH (1, ¡) pour
passer au mode de pause audible.
3. En mode CDJ, effectuez les étapes 2 et 3 ci-dessus pour
définir le Point de repérage.
7 Réglage du Point de référence en mode VINYL
1. Pendant la lecture, au point que vous voulez fixer
comme point de repérage, appuyez et maintenez la
surface de la bague Jog, ou bien appuyez sur le bouton
PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour passer en mode d’attente.
2. En appuyant sur la surface de la bague Jog, ramenez
celle-ci à un point juste avant la piste à reproduire.
3. Lorsque le son est à la plage recherchée, appuyez sur le
bouton CUE tout en appuyant sur la surface de la bague Jog.
¶ Le réglage de mémoire du point de repérage est terminé lorsque l'heure
actuelle s'allume sur l'affichage.
¶ Lorsqu’un nouveau Point de repérage est mémorisé, le précédent est effacé.
[Modification d’un Point de repérage]
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
¶ Vous repasserez ainsi à la position de plage définie.
2. En mode VINYL, effectuez les étapes 2 et 3 ci-dessus
pour définir le Point de repérage.
÷ Les boutons SEARCH (1, ¡) peuvent alors servir pour modifier le
point de repérage, de la même façon que pour le mode CDJ.
7 Repérage en temps réel
Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE
au Point de repérage voulu.
¶ Ce point sera enregistré comme nouveau Point de repérage.
7 Vérification des points de repérage (Échantillonneur
de point de repérage)
Après avoir spécifié un point de repérage, appuyez sur le bouton
CUE.
¶ Le son au Point de repérage spécifié continue, aussi longtemps que le bou-
ton CUE est actionné.
7 Retour au Point de repérage
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
¶ Le lecteur repassera au Point de repérage spécifié.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (3/8).
¶ La lecture commence immédiatement au Point de repérage spécifié.
UTILISATION DU LECTEUR DJ
Changement de la vitesse de lecture (*)
Tirez le bouton de commande Tempo principal vers vous.
Glissez le bouton vers vous (+) pour accroître le tempo, ou glissez-le dans le sens
opposé (–) pour le réduire.
¶ Le degré de changement de la vitesse de lecture (tempo) apparaît sur l’affichage.
¶ Vous pouvez changer la vitesse de lecture sans modifier la hauteur tonale (☞
“Application du Tempo principal”.)
7 Sélection de la plage de réglage de tempo
Appuyez sur le bouton TEMPO ±6/±10/±16/±100 WIDE.
À chaque poussée sur le bouton, la plage variable du bouton de commande de
Tempo principal change comme suit: ±6%, ±10%, ±16% et ±100%. Le réglage
suivant est possible: à ±6%: en unités de 0,02%, à ±10%: en unités de 0,05%, à
±16%: en unités de 0,05%, à ±100%: en unités de 0,2%
¶ La valeur de la plage variable définie apparaît sur l’affichage.
7 Réinitialisation du tempo
Appuyez sur le bouton TEMPO RESET.
Le voyant Tempo Reset s’allume et le degré de variation du tempo est ramené à [0]
(tempo normal), quel que soit le réglage de la molette de contrôle du Tempo
principal.
¶ Une nouvelle pression sur le bouton TEMPO RESET annule la réinitialisation
et le réglage de vitesse, effectué par le bouton de contrôle de Tempo principal,
redevient valide.
