Setting the Maximum Volume
You can set the maximum volume for the CBX-300.
By default, the maximum volume is set to 44.
If the content being played is very quiet and there’s not
enough volume with the Maximum Volume setting set to
44, try a higher setting.
Note:
Increasing the Maximum Volume setting may lead to
audio distortion when listening at volume levels close
to the Max setting.

Set the CBX-300 to Standby.

Press and hold down the MENU/
NO button for 5 seconds until
“Max Vol” appears on the display.
The current maximum volume is dis-
played.

Use the Previous [ ] and Next
[] buttons to adjust the maxi-
mum volume from 44 to 50.

Press [ENTER].
The maximum volume level is set and
“Complete” appears on the display,
after which, the display returns to nor-
mal.
The value that you set here is in fact the
Max value, so you won’t actually see
that volume value on the display. For
example, if you set the maximum vol-
ume to 50, the volume values you see
on the display will be Min, 1–49, Max.
