Settings options
When you press the Settings button while a specific
source (like CD) plays, the setting options appear on
screen and on the media center display. Some, but not
all, of the following options are available for the
particular source.
Number of Speakers Playing
You may choose from 2, 3, 5, Audio 5, or Video
5, depending on the source playing.
Surround Volume
You can adjust the rear speaker volume relative
to the three front speakers.
Center Speaker Volume
You can adjust this volume relative to the four
other speakers.
Sleep Timer
You can set the time (up to 90 minutes) for the
system to turn off.
RDS for FM only (outside the USA)
You can dismiss the media center display of
information.
Output Mode for FM only
You can set this for Stereo-only or Mono-only
play.
Audio Track
You can change DTS to the Dolby Digital audio
format for movies or CDs.
Audio Delay
You can synchronize the audio-to-video timing.
Your choices are 0 and 2-8, in 30-millisecond
increments.
Movie EQ
You can turn this on to adjust the bass-to-treble
ratio for a movie soundtrack.
Range Compression
You can set this to reduce normal volume
ranges in a movie soundtrack, to prevent
disturbing others.
