Getting Started
AM loop antenna
Extend the FM lead antenna horizontally.
Connecting other components
With its built-in amplifier, this speaker system can be used
to output audio and video signals directly from such
components as LD players, MD decks, digital satellite
receivers, and VCRs.
If you connect a VCR
Connect the VCR to the AUDIO L/R and VIDEO jacks of
VIDEO INPUT of the system.
If you connect an LD player, another VCR, or
other video components
Connect the component to the AUDIO L/R and VIDEO
jacks of AUX of the system.

1 Use an optional CONTROL S cord to connect the
CONTROL S IN jack on the left main unit to the
CONTROL S OUT jack on the back of the TV.
2 Follow the Operating Instructions supplied with your
TV set to set it to operate this speaker system.

If you use the S-video connector instead of the video jack
Your TV must also be connected via an S-video connector. S-
video signals are on a separate bus from the video signals and
will not be output through the video jack.
STEP 5 Connecting the FM/AM antennas
Set up the AM loop antenna, then connect it.
Notes
• To prevent noise pickup, keep the AM loop antenna
away from the system and other components.
• Be sure to fully extend the FM wire antenna.
• After connecting the FM wire antenna, keep it as
horizontal as possible.
• When you connect the supplied AM antenna, connect
the black cord (A) to the

terminal, and the white cord
(B) to the other terminal.
STEP 6 Connecting the AC power cord
Connect the AC power cord from the left main unit to a
wall outlet.
