Set the tape deck to stand by for
recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Press CD SYNC

If the play mode is set to Shue
Play, Program Play or Repeat Play,
it automatically switches to Normal
Play.
For Manual Recording and Sound
Mixing:

Start recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:

. When the
recording is completed, the CD player
and the tape deck stop automatically.
For Manual Recording:
Press Ć START

, and then start
playing the desired recording source.
If there is noise while recording from
the tuner, reposition the appropriate
antenna to reduce the noise.
For Sound Mixing:
Press Ć START

, and then start
playing the desired source and
start singing or speaking into the
microphone.
If acoustic feedback (howling)
occurs, reduce the volume, move the
microphone away from the speakers,
or change the direction of the
microphone.

Notes
ˎ CD Synchro Recording is not available with
DVDs, DATA CDs and DATA DVDs.
ˎ You cannot listen to other sources while
recording.
ˎ When you press CD SYNC

in step 5, the
surround eect may automatically change.
ˎ When you record from a VIDEO CD,
playback with PBC functions is automatically
canceled.
ˎ If you connect or disconnect a microphone
or headphones during recording, the sound
may cut o for a moment.
ˎ When DVD is selected, Karaoke Mode is
automatically turned on when you connect
an optional microphone to MIC jack
