Recording onto a tape
ere are three ways to record on a TYPE
I (normal) tape. Use the buttons on the
unit for the operation.
CD Synchro Recording
You can record an entire VIDEO CD or
AUDIO CD onto a tape. e recording
level is adjusted automatically.
Manual Recording
You can record just the portion you
want from a sound source, including
connected audio components.
Sound Mixing
You can “mix” sound from any one of the
sound sources and singing or speaking
into a microphone (not supplied). e
mixed sound can be recorded onto a tape.

Load a recordable tape into the
tape deck, then touch TAPE
to select “TAPE.”

Press DIRECTION
repeatedly
to select ““ to record on one
side. Select ““ or ““ to
record on both sides.

to select recording side, then

If you select both sides recording or
front side recording, touch 
repeatedly to light up the
indicator, then touch

record on the reverse side, touch

Prepare the recording source.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Touch DVD
and insert the disc
you want to record. When the system
automatically starts playback, touch
twice to cancel resume play.
For Manual Recording and Sound
Mixing:
Select the desired source to record
or mix.
To record only sound from a
microphone, touch DVD
, and do
not start playing any other source in
step 6.
