You can adjust the level of each surround
speakers as follows. Be sure to set “TEST
TONE” to “ON” for easy adjustment.
L 0.0 dB

OFF: e test tone is not emitted from
the speakers.
ON: e test tone is emitted from each
speaker in sequence.
e test tone is emitted from the selected
speakers when you select “LEVEL
(FRONT)” or “LEVEL (SURROUND)”.

To return to the default setting when
changing a setting, press CLEAR
before you press ENTER
. However,
note that you cannot return the setting
of “CONNECTION” to default setting.
Note that you cannot perform “SPEAKER
SETUP” when you connect headphones or
microphones to the unit.

Depending on the settings of other speakers,
the subwoofer may output excessive sound.

e items that are set to “NONE” in
“CONNECTION” cannot be selected. When
you perform “QUICK” setup (page 30), the
default settings are changed.

If each le and right speakers are not placed
at an equal distance from your listening
position, set the distance according to the
closest speaker.

e setting range changes depending on the
front speaker setting.

e items that are set to “NONE” in
“CONNECTION” cannot be selected.
