There is no sound.
e USB device is not inserted
correctly. Turn o the system, then
reinsert the USB device and check if
“USB MEMORY” is displayed.
The sound is distorted.
e bit rate used when encoding the
MP3 les was low. Send MP3 les
encoded with higher bit rates to the
USB device.
There is noise or the sound skips.
Turn o the system, then reinsert the
USB device.
e music data itself contains noise.
Noise may have been introduced
when creating music data due to the
conditions of the computer. Create the
music data again.
Copy the les to your computer, format
the USB device in FAT12, FAT16, or
FAT32 format, and copy the les to the
USB device again.*
The USB device cannot be inserted
into the (USB) port
.
e USB device is being inserted
backwards. Insert the USB device in
the correct orientation.
The USB device which has been used
on another device does not work.
It may be recorded in an unsupported
format. If so, rst take the precaution
of backing up important les on the
USB device by copying them to your
computer hard disk. Next, format the
USB device with a FAT12, FAT16, or
FAT32 le system and transfer the
backed-up audio les onto the USB
device again.*
“Reading” is displayed for a long
time.
It may take a while to nish reading the
USB device if there are many albums
or tracks on it. us, we recommend
following these guidelines.
Total albums on USB device: 100 or
less
Total tracks per album: 100 or less
Erroneous display
Send the music data to the USB device
again, as the data stored in the USB
device may have been corrupted.
e character codes that can be
displayed by this system are numbers
and alphabet only. Other characters
appear as “*”.
