Using as Surround Processor
The AVC20 can be used by disconnecting both the front
and rear pre-amplifiers and main amplifiers.
To use the
AVC20 as a surround processor with different
main amplifiers, remove the four short pins as shown in the
diagram, and use pin cords to connect the
PRE
OUT termi-
nals to the input terminals of the other amplifiers.
When this
is
done, the AVC20 volume control can be ope-
rated, but the volume of the other amplifiers must be
increased to a suitable level. The
AVC20 amplifiers can also
be used by connecting Aux level outputs of audio devices
to the
MAIN inputs.
SPEAKER SYSTEMS-
Connect the AVC20
PRE
OUT terminals to the input
terminals of the other amplifiers using cables with phono
plugs at the
AVC20 side and appropriate connectors
at
the
amplifier side.
