PREPARATION FOR USE
Speaker connection
Unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet before con-
necting or disconnecting any component.
For the front, center and
sub woofer speakers

Front speakers
Connect each front speaker wire to the FRONT SPEAKER
A terminals as shown.
Use speakers with an impedance of 8 ohms or more, as
lower impedance speakers can damage the unit.
Connect the black wire with the white line to the negative
(–) terminal, and the black wire to the positive (+) termi-
nal.
Center speaker
Connect the center speaker wire to the CENTER SPEAKER
terminals as shown.
Use a speaker with an impedance of 8 ohms or more, as a
lower impedance speaker can damage the unit.
Connect the black wire with the white line to the negative
(–) terminal, and the black wire to the positive (+) termi-
nal.
Wires to be used with each speaker
Connecting the speaker wires
1 Hold the speaker wire release catch down.
2 Insert the wire into the speaker terminal.
3 Release the catch.
Caution:
When connecting the speakers to the unit, connect the wires
to the speakers first, and then to the terminals on the unit.

Note:
You can connect the speakers you have to the FRONT
SPEAKER B terminals. The recommended impedance is
8 ohms.
