4. Use
d, e, f or g to select Off or On, and press ENTER.
On — Picture will have raised brightness to clarify details.
Off — Picture will have deepened colors.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Edges
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Video, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Edges, and press ENTER.
4. Use
d, e, f or g to select Sharpen, Soften, or Off, and press
ENTER.
Sharpen — Fine detail will be easier to see.
Soften — Soft-focus effect.
Off — Picture will be returned to normal.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
AUDIO Setting
Digital Out
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Digital Out.
4. Repeatedly press
ENTER to select a digital out type.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Raw — Does not have a Dolby Digital Decode.
PCM — Dolby Digital decoding to PCM digital format.
L/R Speaker
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select L/R Speaker, and press ENTER.
4. Use
d, e, f or g to select the desired setting, and press ENTER.
Small — Small size of Speaker.
Large — Large size of Speaker.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Note: You can adjust the channel balance on your unit. Please see
“Adjusting the Sound” on Page 12.
Subwoofer
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Subwoofer, and press ENTER.
4. Use
d, e, f or g to select the desired setting, and press ENTER.
On — Turn on the Subwoofer.
Off — Turn off the Subwoofer.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Note: You can adjust the channel balance on your unit. Please see
“Adjusting the Sound” on Page 12.
Surround Delay
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Surround Delay.
4. Repeatedly press
ENTER to select the Surround Delay type.
0/15ms, 5/20ms, 10/25ms or 15/30ms appears.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Notes:
The first number represents Dolby Digital and the second
number represents Pro Logic.
The delay adjustment depends on the location of your surround
speakers and front speakers. If the location of the surround
speakers are closer than the front speakers, the delay adjustment
can compensate the distance difference.
Center Delay
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Center delay.
4. Repeatedly press
ENTER to select the Surround Delay type.
0ms, 1ms, 2ms, 3ms, 4ms or 5ms appears.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
Note: This delay adjustment depends on the location of your center
speaker. If the distance between the center speaker and the listener is
less than the distance between the front right and left speaker and
the listener, the delay adjustment is balanced.
Pink Noise
1. Press SETUP.
2. Use
d, e, f or g to select Audio, and press ENTER.
3. Use
d, e, f or g to select Pink noise, and press ENTER.
4. Use
d, e, f or g to select the desired setting, and press ENTER.
Off — Pink noise test mode should always be off unless you are
testing your speakers.
Left — Pink noise comes from front left speaker for testing.
Center — Pink noise comes from center speaker for testing.
Right — Pink noise comes from front right speaker for testing.
Left Sur — Pink noise comes from rear surround left speaker for
testing.
Right Sur — Pink noise comes from rear surround right speaker
for testing.
Subwoofer — Pink noise comes from subwoofer for testing.
5. To exit and return to the normal screen, press
RETURND.
