Audio Selection
On some discs, the sound is recorded in two or more formats.
1. While a disc is playing, press
AUDIO to view the current audio
format number.
2. Press
AUDIO repeatedly to select the desired audio format.
Notes:
If only one audio format is recorded, the number does not
change.
About two seconds later, playback continues in the new audio
format.
Subtitle Selection
1. While a DVD is playing, press SUBTITLE to view the current
language.
2. Press
SUBTITLE repeatedly to select the subtitle language.
Notes:
If only one language is recorded, the language does not change.
About two seconds later, playback continues with the new
subtitle you selected.
The number of languages recorded is dependent on the disc.
If no button is pressed within a few seconds, playback continues
without changing the current subtitle.
This function can only be used for discs on which subtitles have
been recorded in multiple languages.
On some DVDs, subtitles are activated from the DVD main
menu. Press
MENU to view the DVD main menu.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Display
You can check and change the settings for angle, audio, and subtitle.
1. While the disc is playing, press
DISPLAY to view:
Elapsed time: Elapsed time from the beginning of the chapter
which is playing currently.
Remaining time: Remaining time of the title which is playing
currently.
2. Press
DISPLAY twice.
3. Press
ANGLE, AUDIO or SUBTITLE to change the item.
4. Press
DISPLAY to return to the normal screen.
Angle Setting
Press ANGLE. The current angle appears. Repeatedly press ANGLE
to select the desired angle.
Audio Setting
Press AUDIO. The current audio type appears. Press AUDIO to select
your desired type of audio.
Subtitle Setting
Press SUBTITLE. The current subtitle number and language appear.
Press
SUBTITLE to select your desired language.
GOTO
This function allows you to skip directly to any part of the disc while
a disc is playing.
Title Skip
Press GOTO. The number of the title currently playing and total
number of titles on the disc appear. Press
GOTO to select a title, and
press
ENTER to confirm.
Chapter Skip
The number of the chapter currently playing and total chapters of
the currently played title. Press
GOTO to select a chapter, and press
ENTER to confirm.
Time Skip
Press GOTO to view elapsed time from the beginning of the current
chapter, and the remaining time from the beginning of the current
title. Press
GOTO to select when to start playback, and press ENTER
to confirm.
Locating a Specific Title/Chapter/Track (DVD/CD)
You can locate a specific title, chapter, or track by selecting the title,
chapter, or track number.
1. Press
GOTO.
2. Press
d, e, f, or g to highlight the title, chapter, or track.
3. Use the number button(s) to enter the chapter, title, or track
number.
4. Press
ENTER. The unit starts playback about three seconds later.
5. Press
CLEAR to reset.
Locating a Specific Time (DVD/CD)
You can move to a specific location by entering its corresponding
time (hours, minutes, and seconds)
1. Press
GOTO.
2. Press
d, e, f, or g to highlight Time.
3. Use the number buttons to enter the desired time.
The first two numbers represent hours.
The second two numbers represent minutes.
The third two numbers represent seconds.
4. Press
ENTER to confirm. The unit starts playback about three
seconds later.
5. Press
CLEAR to reset the time.
