7. Press
OPEN / CLOSE. The disc tray closes. It takes a short while
for your unit to load the discs. After loading, the unit will
automatically start playback of the disc.

DISC1/DISC2/DISC3/DISC4/DISC5 or DISC SKIP to
select other discs to play.
Notes:
• During playback, you can add a disc to the disc tray without
interruption. If you press
OPEN/CLOSE on the remote control
to open the disc tray, place the new disc on the tray, and press
OPEN/CLOSE on the remote control again to close the disc tray.
The current disc playback will not be interrupted. If you press
OPEN/CLOSE on the front panel rather than the remote, the
disc will stop playing.
•You can press
DISC SKIP to choose a track on the current disc.
You also can press
DISC1/DISC2/DISC3/DISC4/DISC5 on the
remote control to choose the desired disc.
• When the disc stops for more than about 30 minutes, or if there
is no disc in the player, the system automatically enters Standby
mode.
Still Mode
Press PAUSE
II . II PAUSE appears on the screen. To resume normal
playback, press
PLAY
K
. The sound is muted while paused.
Stopping Playback
1. Press STOP
D
at the location where you want to interrupt
playback. To resume playback at the position where the disc was
stopped, press
PLAY
K
.
2. Press
STOP
D
twice. The unit’s memory is cleared. Press
PLAY
K
to reset the disc to the beginning.
Skipping to a Different Track (DVD/CD)
Press F SKIP or FNEXT once to skip to the start of the previous
track.
Press
SKIP J or PREV J to skip to the next track.
For audio CD discs, use the number buttons (remote control only) to
jump straight to a specific track number.
Fast Forward/Fast Reverse (DVD/CD)
1. Press
F

when a disc is playing. The disc plays forward
or backward at double speed. Each time

is pressed,
the fast scan speed changes in sequence: x2, x4, x8, x20.

Zooming into an Image
1. While a disc is playing, press ZOOM TV MODE. While an image
is zoomed, you can use
d, e, f, or g to shift the view.
2. To return to the normal view, press
ZOOM TV MODE until JOFF
appears on the display and the screen returns to normal.
3. When you reach the edge of the image, the display will not shift
anymore in that direction.
Angle Selection
Some DVDs contain scenes which have been shot from different
angles. For these discs, the same scene can be viewed from each of
these different angles. The recorded angles differ depending on the
disc used.
1. While you are playing a DVD with different angles recorded,
press
ANGLE to view the number of the current angle.
2. Press
ANGLE repeatedly to change the scene to the next
recorded angle.
Notes:
• About two seconds later, playback continues from the new angle
you selected.
• If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, playback continues
without changing the current angle.
• This function can only be used for discs on which scenes shot
from multiple angles have been recorded.
