5.9.3 Installation
Once you are in the Settings menu, select
Installation using the / arrowkeys.
Press OK.
This menu is used to:
•Manage channel installation
•Position your antenna - Test signal level and
quality
•ManagetheHardDiskDrive
•Checksoftwareupgradesandinformation
•Restore the Digital Terrestrial Receiver
factorysettings.
Disabling Hard drive is a way to reduce Fan
noise.HDDisasourceofheatandnotusingit
reducestheneedforusingtheinternalfan.
Channel installation
This sub-menu is used to manage channel
installation and update TV/Radio services in the
main list
•Update installation: manual update
•Full installation: choose between fast,
(recommanded) automatic and
advanced. (long) see Retune page 11
•Erase channel lists: Use this option to
deleteallchannelsandfavoritelists.
Antenna setting
Thissub-menuisusedtocheckthesignallevel
andquality.Ifthesignalpowerandqualityisnot
adequate,adjustyourantenna.
