Optional connections and settings
Use outdoor antennas if FM/AM radio reception is poor.
Disconnect the antenna when the unit is not in use.
Do not use the outdoor antenna during an electrical storm.

Rework your outdoor antenna’s 75 coaxial cable as follows.
You can enjoy 7.1ch surround sound by connecting an amplifier using audio cable via the SURROUND and SURROUND BACK terminals.

Leave the AM loop

Run a piece of vinyl wire horizontally
across a window or other convenient
location.
FM outdoor antenna

Disconnect the FM indoor antenna.
The antenna should be installed by a
competent technician.

1 Remove a piece of the outer
vinyl insulator.
2 Carefully pull the tabs apart
to remove the cover.
3 Install the coaxial cable.
Clamp the cable conductor, and
wind it on so that it does not
contact anything else.
4 Attach the cover.
