Calibrating Your Printer for V1.5 Ribbon
Follow these steps to calibrate your printer for V1.5 printer ribbon.
1. Put your printer in Raster Mode via the printer’s front panel.
NOTE: For instructions, refer to the previous section,“Putting Your Printer
in Raster Mode.”
2. Install the export module for your printer.
NOTE: For more information about installing the export module, refer to
the export module user’s guide.
3. Install the
Kodak Digital Science
Calibration Utility on your
particular system.
On a system running Windows:
– Pull down the File menu and select
Run
.
– Type a:\setup <enter>.
NOTE: Replace “a” in the above command with the appropriate
drive letter, if necessary.
– Select printing and calibrating options.
On a Macintosh system:
– Select and drag the
Kodak DS Calibration Utility
folder onto your
hard drive.
4. Start up the Calibration Utility.
5. Click on the
Launch Normal Utility
button in the Calibration
Utility selection dialog.
6. Pull down the Printer menu and choose
Select Printer
.
7. Select
SCSI ID
or
Network
.
8. Pull down the File menu and select
New
.
The message “Create a new calibration table with these
settings?” appears.
9. Select the
Change Setup
button.
