1.2.1 Expanders
The expander is a component that controls the interaction between the controller and the disks.

■ Drive interface ports
A DI port is used to connect a controller enclosure.
The following table shows the DI port specifications.

1.2.2 Power Supply Units
The power supply unit transforms input AC power from a power socket to DC power and supplies
power to each component. Two power supply units are installed in each drive enclosure.
Each power supply unit contains fans.
