Configuration Tab
System Settings Page
The GSS 100 downloads the System Settings page (see gure 20) when you click the
Configuration tab. The screen consists of fields in which you can view and edit IP
administration and system settings. You can access the Video Settings, Passwords, and
Firmware Upgrade pages by clicking the appropriate link.

On password-protected connections, there are two levels of protection: administrator and
user. Administrators have full access to all functions on the system settings page. Users
can select images to output, set output mutes, and view all settings with the exception of
passwords.
IP Settings fields
The IP Settings fields provide a location for viewing and editing settings unique to the
Ethernet interface. After editing any of the settings in this eld, click the Submit button at
the bottom of the field.
Unit Name field
The Unit Name eld contains the locally-assigned name of the GSS. This name eld can be
changed to any valid name, up to 24 alphanumeric characters.
NOTE: The following characters are invalid or not recommended in the matrix name:
+ ~ , @ = ‘ [ ] { } < > ’ “ ; : | \ and ?.
