3. DEVICE OPERATION
(3) Detailed description of the Preset items
1. Finish mode (Finish Mode)
This feature allows you to decide what the DN-C640 will do after completing the playback of a track or file.
Set value Description
Stop Unit returns to stop mode after the track has played
Next Unit advances to the next track and waits in Cue Mode
Recue Unit returns to the beginning of the current track and waits in Cue Mode.
Continuous (default) Unit plays the next track after finishing the previous track
2. Power on playback (Power On)
This feature allows you to decide the status of the unit after the TOC has been read or the DIR structure has been
identified.
Set value Description
Play Unit starts to play after boot procedure is completed
Stop (default) Unit sits in stop mode after boot procedure is completed
3. Start mode (Start Mode)
This feature allows you to decide what the DN-C640 will do after a track is selected with the track search operation.

4. Cue mode (Cue Mode)
This feature allows you to decide what the DN-C640 will do when the CUE button is pressed.

5. Auto Cue (Auto Cue)
This feature allows you to decide at what level of music the DN-C640’s Auto Cue feature will detect.

• If an audio signal isn’t detected within the maximum period of time (20 seconds) then the DN-C640 will most likely Cue to
