3. DEVICE OPERATION
(4) Pitch Control
Pitch Control allows the playback of audio at faster (+) or
slower speeds(–).
1. Turning PITCH CONTROL On and OFF

• The PITCH button lights up orange indicating PITCH
CONTROL is ON.
• The play speed increases or decreases depending on
the pitch control setting as indicated in the display.
• Press the PITCH button again to turn PITCH CONTROL
Off.
• The PITCH button light turns off.
2. Adjusting the PITCH CONTROL speed
With the unit in SHIFT mode, turn the jog wheel
counterclockwise to reduce the Pitch and speed or
turn the jog wheel clockwise to increase the Pitch and
speed.

(5) Skip Back
SKIP BACK is a feature that allows instant replay of the
currently playing track. When the SKIP BACK button on
the unit or SKIP BACK button on the remote control unit is
pressed during playback, play will skip back by the number of
seconds set in the PRESET MENU and playback will resume
from that point.

Factory default SKIP BACK time is 10 seconds.

23.)
(6) End Monitor
END MONITOR is a feature that plays back the final seconds
of the current track. If the Finish Mode is set to “Continuous”
in the preset menu, the DN-C640 plays back the last track of
the current disc. To use this feature, with the unit in SHIFT
mode, press the A-B/END MON button during in CUE mode
on the device or remote control unit and the unit will start
playback from the position before the end of the current track
as set in the PRESET MENU.
