Connecting other
company’s image equipment

RGB type or composite type images from other
company’s equipment can be displayed on this
unit
Be sure to perform this setting after connecting
the RGB type or composite type image equip-
ment to the RGB terminal.
1. When the panel is open, press the ADJ but-
ton £ to show the adjustment selection dis-
play.
2. Operate the JOYSTICK § upward or down-
ward to select “INPUT”. A menu bar is shown
to the right to select the following items:
● “NAVI”: Setting when Clarion NAVI is con-
nected;
● “CCD”: Setting when Clarion CCD camera
is connected to this unit;
● “RGB”: Setting when a RGB image of other
company’s equipment is input;
● “COM”: Setting when a composite image
of other company’s equipment is input.
3. Operate the JOYSTICK § rightward or left-
ward to select “RGB” or “COM”.
● To connect an RGB equipment:
If the image equipment to connect is RGB
type, select “RGB”. Equipment capable to be
connected should have positive polarity sig-
nal of 0.7 V p-p for RGB, and negative polar-
ity signal of 0.3 V p-p for synchronous signal.

To connect a composite type equipment:
If the image equipment to connect is a “Com-
posite” type, select “COM”.
∗ These settings cannot be selected when the
DVD changer is connected.
4. Then, press the ENT at the center of the JOY-
STICK § to set the connection.
Display changeover
When the panel is open, it is possible to change
over between AV display and external equipment
display using the NVG/AV button !.
∗ In the external equipment display, those buttons
in the panel (JOYSTICK §, MENU ∞, VIEW
¢, IN £, OUT ™) are disabled.
Monitoring the CCD camera
The CCD camera can be connected to this unit.
For the power supply of the camera, mount the
power box sold separately (CCA-188).
Notes:
• This function is not available when the display is
stored.
• When the TV tuner and CCD camera are to be
connected to this unit, connect the CCD camera
to the CCD input terminal on this unit.
• Refer to the subsection “Sample System 3” in
“9. SAMPLE SYSTEMS” section.
Setting CCD as an external input
equipment
Be sure to perform this setting after connecting
the CCD.
