Greeting Message
You can set a greeting message to be displayed
briefly when you switch the phone on.
1. When Greeting message highlights in the
Display menu, press the Select soft key.
The current message displays.
2. Press the C key to clear the message.
3. Enter a new message.
For more information about entering
characters, see page 31.
4. When you finish entering the message, press
the Save soft key.
Wallpaper
You can select a background image (wallpaper)
to be displayed on the idle screen.
1. Select Wallpaper in the display menu using
the or key, and press the Select soft
key. Or you can also the Wallpaper soft key
from the Settings startup screen.
The Images folder of the My stuff opens.
2. Press the or key to scroll to the image
you want to use.
3. Press the Save soft key.
Cover LCD
You can select what the external display shows in
the idle mode.
The following options are available:
Digital clock: a digital clock showing current
time and date appears on the screen.
Cover title: you can enter a greeting message.

see page 31.
Image: you can select an image.
Main Menu Style
You can change the style of displaying main
menu.

Call

Caller ID
You can prevent your phone number from being
displayed on the phone of the person being
called.
Note
: Some networks do not allow the user to
change this setting.
The following options are available:
By network
: the default setting provided by the
network is used.
Send
: your number is sent each time you make
a call.
Hide
: your number is not displayed on the other
person’s phone.
Diverting
This network service enables incoming calls to be
rerouted to the number that you specify.
To set your call diverting options:
1. Select the type of calls from Voice call, Data
call and Video call to be diverted by
pressing the or key, and then press
the
OK
key.
2. Select the type of diverting required by
pressing the or key, and then press
the
OK
key.
Always
: all calls are diverted.
Busy
: calls are diverted if you are already
making another call.
No reply
: calls are diverted if you do not
answer the phone.
Unreachable
: calls are diverted if you are
not in an area covered by your service
provider.
Cancel all
: all call diverting options are
cancelled.
The phone dials your network to find whether
call diverting is possible or not.
After a few minutes, the current status
displays. If the option has already been set,
