Profiles
¥ou can change the settings for several sound
modes.
Setting up Sound Modes
1. From the startup screen of the Profiles menu,
press the OK soft key.
2. Select a mode from Normal, Meeting,
Drive, Silent and Outdoor by pressing the
or key and press the Options soft key
and Customize.
3. The available options are vary depending on
the selected mode.
Press the or key to scroll through the
sound options. Change the settings using the
and keys.
The following options are available:
• Call alert type: allows you to select the
alert type for the call ringer. You can choose
one among Melody, Mute(Light only),
Vibration & melody and Vibration.
• Ring tone: enables you to select a melody
or tone to be used when you select Melody
or Vibration & melody in the Call alert
type option. Press the OK key and select a
sound from the file list.
• Tone volume: allows you to adjust the
volume level of the sounds.
• Msg. alert type: allows you to select the
alert type for the message ringer.
• Msg. alert tone: allows you to select a
melody or tone to be used when you select
Melody or Vibration & melody in the
Msg. Alert type option. Press the OK key
and select a sound from the file list.
• Effect tones: allows you to turn the alert
sounds on or off. Press the OK key to place
or remove a check mark.

you when you have made a mistake.

Minute minder: lets you set the phone to
beep every minute during an outgoing call to
keep you informed of the length of your call.
Call connect tone
: sets the phone to beep
when the person you are calling answers the
phone.
Call end tone
: sets the phone to beep when
your call ends.

ower on: sets the phone to beep when the
phone is switched on.
Effect sounds
: sets the phone to beep when
you access the menu facilities.

older open/close: sets the phone to beep
when you open or close the phone.
Press the Change soft key to save the
setting.
• Alert tones: allows you to select a tone
type for the feedback alerts. Press the OK
key and select a type. Then press the
Options soft key to use the following
options.
Select
: selects the selecting tone.
Listen all set
: listens all alert tones. Select a
alert tone from the list and press the Play
soft key to listen it.
• Key tones: allows you to select a tone
which sounds when you press a key.
• Key tone volume: allows you to adjust the
volume level of the keypad tone.
4. When you finish setting the options, press the
Save soft key.
Switching the Sound Mode
1. From the Profiles start up screen, press the
Change soft key. Press the or key to
select the mode you want to use and press
the OK key.
Or, from the Profiles menu, select the mode
you want to use and press the OK key.
The phone displays “Profile changed.”
Note
: You can quickly switch to the silent mode by
holding
the key
down
in the idle mode.
To switch back to the previous sound
mode, hold the key down again.
