Turning off the beep
sound
Using the recorder, you can turn off the
beep sound on the recorder and the
remote control. Using the remote control,
you can turn off the beep sound on the
remote control only.
On the recorder
1 Press the jog dial.
2 Turn the dial until “OPTION” flashes
in the display, and then press to enter.
3 Turn the jog dial until “BEEP”
flashes in the display and then press
to enter.
4 Turn the jog dial until “MAIN UNIT”
or “REMOTE” flashes in the display,
and then press to enter.
MAIN UNIT: when turning off the
beep sound on the recorder.
REMOTE: when turning off the beep
sound on the remote control.
5 Turn the jog dial until “BEEP OFF”
flashes in the display, and then press
to enter.
On the remote control
1 Press DISPLAY for 2 seconds or
more.
2 Turn the control repeatedly until
“OPTION” flashes in the display, and
then press x to enter.
3 Turn the control repeatedly until
“BEEP” flashes in the display, and
then press x to enter.
4 Turn the control repeatedly until
“BEEP OFF” flashes in the display,
and then press x to enter.
To turn on the beep sound
• On the recorder
Select “BEEP ON” in step 5.
• On the remote control
Select “BEEP ON” in step 4.
