Usingthe DIGITALMEDIA
PORTAdapter
The DIGITAL MEDIA PORT (DMPORT)
adapter is for enjoying sound ff()m a portable
audio source or computer. By connecting a
DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter, you call
enjoy sound from the connected component on
tile system.
Available DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapters
vary in each area.
The DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter (TDM-
iPl0) is supplied with tile system (a DIGITAL
MEDIA PORT adapter other than TDM-iPI I/is
not supplied).
For details on connecting tile DIGITAL MEDIA
PORT adapter, see "To connect tile DIGITAL
MEDIA PORT adapter" (page 33).
• Do not connect an Mapter other than the DIGITAL
MEDIA PORT adapter.
• Do not connect or disconnect the DIGITAL MEDIA
PORT adapter to/from the unit while the system is
tlJrned on.
• Depending on the type of DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
adapter, the images arc also output. In this case, tile
system outputs file composite video signal only,
regardless of the type of vide() signal.
• When you use tile system and the Bluetooth Wireless
Audio Adapter Isuch as TDM-BTI, not supplied) at
the same time, transmission distance between the
Bluetooth transmitter and Bhletooth Wireless Audio
Adapter may be reduced. In this case, place the
Bluetooth transmitter as far as possible from the
system, or move the Bluetooth Wireless Audio
Adapter closer to the Bluetooth transmitter.
• When you use the system and tile Wireless Network
Audio Adapter (such as TDM-NCI, not sup?lied) at
the same time, place the Wireless Network Audio
Adapter as far as possible from lhe system.

Start playback of the connected
component.
The sound and images from the connected
component are played on the system or
connected TV.
For operation details, refer to tile operating
instructions of the DIGITAL MEDIA
PORT adapter.
• When listening to MP3 files or other compressed
music using a portable audio source, you can enhance
the sound. Select "A.FD. STD" lbr "DEC. MODE '
(page 49). To cancel select other than "A.FD. STD."
• Depending on the type of DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
adapter, you may be able to operate a connected
component using either the buttons on the remote or
the unit. The lbllowing illustration shows an example
of buttons that can be used in this case.
